Each new iteration of Apple phone claims to be indestructible but then they try to sell you a protective case when you check out. I’m never sure if I should believe the claim, so I always get a phone cover just in case. That said, over the years the amount of protection these covers have provided my wife and I has been suspect, so I’m reluctant to say the case will do what it’s designed for. However, it is easy to install, looks good, and feels comfortable to the hand (i.e., doesn’t slip out easily), so it will do for me. Fits just like the one my 5-year-old model X had on it and it never broke (although to be fair, I don’t remember doing it either). Time will tell, but for now, I’ll give it 5 stars.

Since I was foolish enough to buy an iPhone 14 pro Max with the ridiculous camera bump, I’ve been having issues with the wireless charging pad in my vehicle. I’m used to using a tactical case or Otterbox because I’m a serial phone dropper, and was very reluctant to reduce the profile of protection on my phone. However, I had to find a streamlined case so my wireless charging pad in my car might work again. For the most part, it works now though the camera bump still creates problems on occasion, but that has nothing to do with this case. I finally got so frustrated that I turned off the wireless charger in my car and instead bought a small MagSafe charger, and the low profile of this case enables me to place the MagSafe disk and my phone on the same little shelf in my car that is the wireless pad. This case absolutely supports MagSafe charging. I first bought this in purple and absolutely loved the color so I bought one in green. It’s less of a forest green as pictured and more of a deep military green, but I still like the look of it and I love the feel of these cases. Easy to hold, not slippery, they do not collect lint and look very streamlined and sleek on the phone. True to form, I dropped my phone while grabbing some things from my car last night. The fall was from chest height, and the phone hit my cement garage floor, face down. I braced for the worst as I bent down to retrieve it. Not a scratch on the screen protector (which is also glass). The bumper took the full hit and was still pristine. Pulled the case, the glass back was also unscathed. Absolutely love these cases, and if you are experiencing wireless charging issues with the iPhone 14 and 15 series due to the camera, this is a streamlined option that offers ample protection (of course, add a screen protector) and might just let you charge wirelessly on older chargers again.
